This Legal Notice applies to LuLu & LuMi and all products, content, and services offered through our online store.

1. Independent Reseller

LuLu & LuMi is an independent merchandise reseller based in Hong Kong.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on an individual product page, we do not manufacture, publish, license, or officially distribute the products offered in our store. Products may be sourced from third-party suppliers, retailers, collectors, artists, studios, or other independent sellers and are offered for resale.

2. Product Categories

LuLu & LuMi may offer both official merchandise and unofficial fan-made merchandise.

Official Merchandise

Products described as “official,” “licensed,” “authentic,” or “genuine” are resale products that we reasonably understand to have been originally manufactured or distributed with authorization from the relevant rights holder.

The resale of official merchandise through LuLu & LuMi does not mean that we are an authorized distributor, official retail partner, sponsor, representative, or affiliate of the original creator, publisher, studio, production company, brand, licensor, or intellectual property owner.

All original trademarks, copyright notices, labels, packaging, holograms, licensing information, and manufacturer details remain the property and responsibility of their respective owners.

Unofficial and Fan-Made Merchandise

Products described as “unofficial,” “fan-made,” “artist-made,” “doujin,” “inspired,” or similar terms are independent products that are not represented by LuLu & LuMi as officially licensed merchandise.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, these products are not produced, licensed, approved, sponsored, endorsed, or authorized by the owners of the underlying characters, titles, artwork, trademarks, or other intellectual property.

The use of terms such as “fan-made,” “unofficial,” or “inspired” is intended only to describe the nature of a product. Such terms do not create, grant, or imply any intellectual property licence, authorization, endorsement, or legal permission.

3. No Official Affiliation

Unless expressly stated otherwise, LuLu & LuMi is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with any creator, artist, publisher, studio, distributor, licensor, franchise owner, or related rights holder represented in the products sold through our store.

References to character names, series names, titles, logos, brands, and other identifying materials are used solely to identify and describe the relevant products.

4. Intellectual Property Ownership

All third-party character names, character designs, illustrations, logos, trademarks, service marks, series titles, copyrighted works, and other intellectual property belong to their respective owners.

LuLu & LuMi does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property appearing on or associated with the merchandise we resell.

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as transferring, licensing, assigning, or granting any right to use third-party intellectual property.

5. Product Authenticity and Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to describe our products accurately and to distinguish official merchandise from unofficial, fan-made, or unverified merchandise.

Customers should carefully review each product’s title, description, photographs, condition, packaging details, and authenticity information before completing a purchase.

Because products may be obtained from different third-party sources:

Packaging may vary between countries, regions, releases, or production batches.
Minor differences in printing, color, size, positioning, or manufacturing may occur.
Some resale products may have opened, damaged, replaced, or missing packaging.
Pre-owned products may show signs of age, storage, display, or previous handling.
Information supplied by manufacturers, distributors, artists, or sellers may later be corrected or updated.

LuLu & LuMi will not knowingly describe a counterfeit, replica, unofficial, or unverified product as official merchandise.

Where a product’s licensing or authenticity status cannot be reasonably verified, we may describe it as unofficial, fan-made, unverified, or otherwise clearly disclose its status on the product page.

Customers with questions about the authenticity or origin of a product should contact us before placing an order.

6. Product Condition

Products are sold in the condition described on their individual product pages.

Unless expressly described as pre-owned, opened, damaged, defective, or used, products will generally be supplied in the stated new or unused condition.

Collectors should be aware that minor imperfections may occur in outer packaging, including small dents, scratches, bends, seal marks, printing variations, or other minor damage caused during manufacturing, storage, handling, or international transportation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, outer packaging is primarily intended to protect the product and may not be treated as part of the collectible item.

7. Third-Party Images and Information

Some product photographs, descriptions, measurements, promotional images, or other materials may be provided by manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, artists, or other third parties.

These materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used for product identification and informational purposes.

Original photographs, written descriptions, branding materials, and other content created by LuLu & LuMi may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, or commercially used without our prior written permission.

8. Rights Holder Requests

LuLu & LuMi respects the intellectual property rights of creators, artists, publishers, brands, studios, licensors, and other rights holders.

A rights holder or authorized representative who believes that a product listing or website material infringes their rights may contact us at:

Your full name and contact information
The name of the rights holder you represent
Identification of the protected work, trademark, or other intellectual property
The URL of the relevant product listing or website content
A clear explanation of the alleged infringement
Evidence that you own the relevant rights or are authorized to act for the rights holder
A statement confirming that the information provided is accurate

We may temporarily suspend, restrict, or remove relevant content while reviewing a properly submitted request.

LuLu & LuMi reserves the right to remove any product or content that we reasonably believe may violate applicable law, platform requirements, supplier agreements, or third-party rights.

9. Product Availability and Order Cancellation

Many products sold by LuLu & LuMi may be sourced through resale channels, limited releases, collectors, independent artists, or third-party suppliers. Product availability is therefore not guaranteed.

We may cancel and refund an order where:

A product is no longer available
A supplier is unable to fulfil the order
Product information was materially inaccurate
Authenticity or licensing information cannot be reasonably confirmed
The product cannot legally or safely be supplied
A pricing, inventory, or listing error has occurred
We reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or an unauthorized transaction

Where an order is cancelled by us, the applicable amount paid for the cancelled product will be refunded using the original payment method, subject to our Refund Policy.

10. Import Restrictions, Customs and Taxes

Orders are generally shipped from Hong Kong.

Customers are responsible for confirming that the products they order may be lawfully imported, possessed, and used in their destination country or region.

We may cancel an order where we reasonably believe that shipping the product could violate customs requirements, import restrictions, sanctions, carrier rules, or applicable law.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes, brokerage charges, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee and are the responsibility of the customer.

LuLu & LuMi does not control customs inspections, customs charges, delivery delays, seizures, refusals, or other decisions made by local authorities.

11. Third-Party Sellers and Suppliers

LuLu & LuMi may rely on information provided by suppliers, artists, collectors, manufacturers, distributors, or other third parties.

Although we take reasonable steps to review product information, we cannot independently guarantee every statement made by a third-party source.

We reserve the right to correct product descriptions, authenticity classifications, prices, availability information, or other listing details when new information becomes available.

13. Limitation of This Notice

This Legal Notice is intended to provide transparency regarding the independent resale nature of LuLu & LuMi and the classification of products offered through our store.

Nothing in this notice should be interpreted as:

A guarantee that any use of third-party intellectual property is legally permitted
A waiver of rights belonging to any third party
An admission of infringement
A substitute for permission or licensing from a rights holder
A guarantee of product authenticity unless expressly stated

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes, restricts, or limits any responsibility or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

LuLu & LuMi may update this Legal Notice from time to time to reflect changes to our products, business operations, platform requirements, or applicable laws.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised notice, subject to applicable law.

Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in the customer’s country or region, this Legal Notice and the operation of LuLu & LuMi are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
